Document Sciences announces business development unit, new vice president, marketing.

Document Sciences (NASDAQ:DOCX), a global leader in document automation solutions, named Daniel J. Fregeau, formerly the company's vice president, marketing, to a new role as vice president, business development.

Robert J. Pryor has been named vice president, marketing. The appointments were announced by Tony N. Domit, president and chief executive officer of Document Sciences.

Replacing Fregeau as vice president, marketing is Robert J. Pryor. "Bob brings a wealth of high-tech marketing experience with a keen sense of innovation in establishing successful marketing programs. His previous experience as principal of web.in.sight, an Internet consulting group, is key to our expansion into electronic documents and the Internet," said Domit.

Pryor's appointment is the result of the company experience in retaining web.in.sight to help formulate the company's Internet strategy. As vice president, marketing, Pryor will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs for the company's Autograph suite of products, services and solutions.
