Turbo Power Systems has a contract for the Boeing 787 "Dreamliner" using it's innovative motor drive technology. The contract is worth an estimated $26 million through the life of the contract, depending on final fleet size. The contract, through Hamilton Sundstrand, is for the design and supply of the motor controller for the Ram Fans used as part of the power electronics cooling system on the aircraft. In addition, Turbo Power Systems expects to benefit from the substantial spare parts market which could be worth in the region of $10m.
