Insurance biggest worry for Tasmanian business
A new survey's found insurance is regarded as overwhelmingly the biggest constrainton business growth in Tasmania.
A quarterly survey of business expectations by the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce andIndustry and the Commonwealth Bank found 32.5 per cent of 172 businesses regard insuranceas a critical constraint -- and a further 27.7 per cent a large constraint.
Insurance was included as a constraint category for the first time for the June quartersurvey and immediately shot to the top of business concerns, displacing labor costs, whichusually tops the list.
Despite the worries over insurance, the survey's found Tasmanian business in buoyant mood.
