Vic: Liberals announce expanded shadow cabinet
New Victorian Liberal leader ROBERT DOYLE has unveiled an expanded 22 member shadowcabinet which includes the man he deposed as leader last week -- DENIS NAPTHINE.
But Mr DOYLE dropped two key NAPTHINE supporters, GARY ROWE and STEPHEN MCARTHUR, fromhis new line-up.
Mr DOYLE says he's chosen those he believes are best for the job and has asked Mr ROWEand Mr MACARTHUR to focus on their electorates.
Dr NAPTHINE says the events of the past week are behind him, adding his first commitmentis to country Victoria and the Liberal Party.
He also says Mr DOYLE has his full support.
New deputy leader PHIL HONEYWOOD retains the education and multicultural affairs portfolios,and former party deputy LOUISE ASHER retains industry and employment and major projects.
Former backbencher RON WILSON is promoted to the key health portfolio, previously heldby Mr DOYLE.
